We source as much local produce as possible. We are currently offering Champion Bred Dexter Beef from our local Cleughside Farm. It is really excellent and worth a trip to The Grapes. Another source of beef is Shaws Farm Newcastleton, again excellent beef, look out for the next delivery, I will post is on the website.
All this and other Scottish & Cumbrian Beef is always prepared for us by our local butchers T Elliot & Son.
Fruit & veg is from a local Dumfries Supplier, Our fish is fantastic, Haddock, straight from the North Atlantic to Aberdeen and delivered to us via Campells Prime Meats Ltd, Lathallan, & their Scottish Salmon is from the Shetlands.
Our famous Stornoway Blackpudding is prepared & sent direct from Stornoway by Charles Macleod on Stornoway. Cant get better than that!
Pioneer Foods and Booker Wholesale in Carlisle Cumbria are so helpful with supplies, we couldnt do without them!
Overall we try very hard to maintain a very high standard of food but try it for yourselves, you wont be disappointed
